With 'Strong Heart' coming to a close, SBS has decided to relaunch the program as 'Strong Heart 2'.
Actress Kim Hee Sun, comedian Shin Dong Yup, and singer Yoon Jong Shin have been confirmed as the hosts of the newly branded show. The original 'Strong Heart' aired its first episode in October of 2009, staying on air for over 3 years before it was officially canceled recently.
The show struggled when main host Kang Ho Dong took a hiatus from the entertainment industry due to tax evasion allegations. Co-host Lee Seung Gi took the reins for a bit before Shin Dong Yup and Lee Dong Wook stepped in to take over as the MCs.
PD Jo Young Chul of KBS' '1 Night 2 Days' will be spearheading 'Strong Heart 2', and filming will start in mid-February.
