The historical genre film featuring Lee Byung Hun, 'Masquerade', has beaten out one of the most seen movies at the theaters, 'Taeguki: Brotherhood of War' , which starred Jang Dong Gun and Won Bin, to take the 4th spot in Korean box office records.
'Masquerade' drew in a total of 11,760,535 viewers by November 12th, which has surpassed 'Taegukigi's 4th place record of 11,756,735.
Currently the recent film 'The Thieves' holds the record as it has beat out previous movie 'The Host' to take the #1 spot. Following 'The Host' is 'The King and the Clown' in third place.
As mentioned previously, 'Masquerade' depicts a scenario that unfolds in the Joseon Dynasty as a poor man sits in as a double for the king, and features Lee Byung Hun, Ryu Seung Ryong, and Han Hyo Joo.
