Singer Psy, who previously swept the headlines by taking a shot of soju in the middle of his Seoul performance, has been offered a CF deal by 'Hite Jinro', the producers of soju brands like 'Chamiseul'.
On October 4th, Psy had cleared a bottle of soju during his free concert in front of Seoul city hall. Although the incident at the time had been a topic of controversy, Hite Jinro thought of it as the perfect marketing opportunity considering that the scene was viewed by millions of people around the world.
Although the precise number hasn't been revealed yet, industry insiders believe the numbers for the CF deal to be up in the high six figure range. Considering that Psy's CF worth before his 'Gangnam Style' viral hit was recorded at around $100,000~$200,000 USD, it's quite a big jump.
