In light of the upcoming premiere of her new film 'Once We Were Us', actress Moon Ga Young took part in a roundtable interview, reflecting on her first big-screen project in 9-years.
She said, "My fans tell me that my last movie was in 2006. When I hear that, it still doesn't register with me. I'm still so uncertain about acting. I want to do well. I haven't grown tired of it. When I was younger, I thought that I would just do this until a certain age. But I kept doing it because I loved it, and here I am. I was so lucky to find something I loved from a young age."
Meanwhile, Moon Ga Young previously made headlines for her 'lingerie slip dress' look during a public airport appearance. When asked about her fashion choice, she answered, "It wasn't necessarily to change my image. To be honest, because I've been in the acting business since I was young, I think that I also act different versions of me in my life. That [incident] was also a part of that process. Maybe the version of me who was a child actress did somehow want to try something bolder."
She continued, "All in all, I'm still learning about myself, what looks good on me, what I like and dislike. I like to try new things. I also love fashion. That's just where I am. Some people were surprised by my fashion choice, but others told me that I looked good. So you never know unless you try something out. I hope that people will see it as a part of the process of learning about oneself."
Meanwhile, 'Once We Were Us' starring Moon Ga Young and Koo Kyo Hwan is set to premiere in theaters on December 31 KST.
