Upcoming rookie boy group LNGSHOT garnered attention with an explicit parody of the K-Pop industry in the MV teaser for their pre-release single, "Saucin'".
The MV teaser begins with Jay Park's transformation as a grumpy, pot-bellied K-Pop producer. He angrily tells the trainees, "You're not dating! You do what I say! And fix your face!", commentating on the restrictive norms and regulations of the K-Pop training system.
Yet, breaking the mould of typical K-Pop, LNGSHOT hint at their rebellious and troublemaking sound and attitude, suggesting a bold, hip-hop takeover of the industry.
The full MV for LNGSHOT's pre-release single "Saucin'" will be out on December 20 at 10 PM KST, followed by the song's release on digital streaming platforms on December 22 at 6 PM KST.
