Girls' Generation's Sunny is leaving the KBS 2TV variety program 'Invincible Youth 2'. The broadcast on July 7th KST will be her last.
A representative stated on the 6th, "Girls' Generation's Sunny will no longer appear on 'Invincible Youth 2' after the July 7th broadcast. Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon is remaining on the show."
A SM Entertainment representative also announced on the same day, "It's true that tomorrow's broadcast will be the last time Sunny appears [as a cast member] on the program. This is something that was confirmed with the producers when she became part of the season 2 cast. As she was the only member from season 1, they agreed that she would stay on with season 2 until the program became somewhat stable."
"It was decided that it was the right time for Sunny to leave the show as Lee Young Ja would be coming on as a new MC. After consulting with the producers, they decided that she would leave after the July 7th episode."
Sunny joined season 1 of 'Invincible Youth' in October of 2009. She's been a member of the second season'sG6 for eight months.
