On December 20th, Super Junior's Donghae and Siwon attended the '2011 Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards' at the Hong Kong Convention Center on behalf of their group. The boys won four awards for being the 'Top Searched Artist (Group)' in South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong; they were also recognized for being 'Asia's Top Searched Group Artist' overall.
The 'Yahoo! Asia Buzz Awards' honors top celebrities and trending entertainment content over the past year. Yahoo! Korea, Yahoo! Hong Kong and Yahoo! Taiwan pooled their efforts to create this award, and its results are based on the most-searched categories as well as netizen votes.
Donghae and Siwon remarked, "We are honored to receive such a prestigious award, and although our visit in Hong Kong was short, we want to thank all of our fans who helped make a memorable and touching experience."
The awards event was streamed live through Yahoo! Hong Kong, and it will also be broadcasted through Hong Kong TVB-Jade.
