"Shy Boy" choreographer files a lawsuit against a dance academy for plagiarizing his work

SECRET's choreographer, Park (30), has filed a $25,000 USD lawsuit against a dance academy for copyright infringement, as the dance academy had apparently used Park's choreography without giving credit or notice. According to the Seoul Central District Court on March 16th, Park discovered that 'E' dance academy had pilfered his choreography for "Shy Boy", and so he subsequently filed a lawsuit against franchiser 'Kim' and dance instructor 'Heo.' Park stated, "The rights to the choreography for 'Shy Boy' are with me, so it is unjust for 'E' to teach the choreography to their students without my permission.�'Kim' ordered for the choreography to be taught in their academy, and even put up notifications on their academy website, telling visitors that there is now a special dance class just for it..."
