Exciting news for German K-pop fans! Newcomer Radio Deutschland has agreed, after receiving petitions from the German Hallyu Project, to play K-pop on their February 21st broadcast! Newcomer Radio Deutschland is an online radio station dedicated to introducing listeners to up-and-coming bands and music genres. According to the German Hallyu Project,�this is the first time that a radio station in Germany has agreed to play K-pop on air. Newcomer Radio posted a short message on their website announcing the event:
"We ''fight'' for music genres that have a difficult time achieving mainstream success in our music business.
