MBC to make their own version of 'Superstar K'

Mnet's "Superstar K Season 2" has been gaining a huge amount of popularity these days as this year's hottest reality show. Naturally, when something becomes popular, others will want to copy. MBC is looking to make their own version of the show and call it, "The Birth of a Great Star Audition." If the title sounds strange, that's alright, because the official title for the series hasn't been decided yet. The makers of 'Superstar K' said that they don't care too much that MBC plans on adapting their show, as the purpose of 'Superstar K' was to debut different singers. Consequently, they're quite happy that more unique singers will be given the opportunity to be discovered. MBC, SBS, and KBS have all had these types of shows before but none of them were a big hit. However SBS' show was the one that found Wonder Girls' Sunye and 2AM's Jokwon. Will you watch MBC's interpretation of the talent show?
