Singer WOODZ will take on his first ever acting role in his very own music short film, 'Slide Strum Mute', premiering in theaters next month.
On January 23 KST, AT NINE FILM and EDAM Entertainment unveiled a launching clip and teaser poster for the upcoming short film, teasing WOODZ's transformation as an actor. Described as a mystery genre inspired by WOODZ's own biographical essay, 'Slide Strum Mute' tells the story of Woo Jin, a young man who has failed at a music audition once again. A stranger then leaves him in charge of a broken guitar. Out of curiosity, Woo Jin strums the broken guitar and is sucked into a cursed time.
Directed by Park Se Young of the horror film 'The Fifth Thoracic Vertebra' (2022) and also featuring a cameo by Justin H. Min of 'After Yang' (2021), 'Slide Strum Mute' is set to premiere in CGV theaters across South Korea on February 26 KST. For now, you can watch the launching clip, above.
