MONSTA X is set to make their return on September 1 with a new mini album titled 'THE X'.
On July 27, their agency Starship Entertainment surprised fans by releasing a coming soon teaser video for THE X via MONSTA X’s official social media channels. The video opens with a symbolic flip clock sequence, representing the group’s journey from 2015 to 2025 in celebration of their 10th debut anniversary.
Despite a period of group inactivity, the members of MONSTA X have consistently expressed their passion for team promotions and music through solo activities, unit projects, and self-produced content.
Joohoney, known for steering the musical direction of MONSTA X, confidently stated during a free fan event after his military discharge, “I’ve created the weapon that will let MONSTA X take the lead in K-pop once again, so look forward to it.”
With MONSTA X having established a distinct presence in the K-pop scene, both fans and the general public are eager to see what kind of music and energy the group will bring with 'THE X'.
MONSTA X will officially begin album promotions on September 1, with pre-orders for 'THE X' starting on July 28.
