Singer Jung Dong-won is making his debut in the world of K-pop idols under the alias "JD1." His agency, Showplay Entertainment, has announced that JD1 will release his debut single 'Who Am I' on the 11th.
JD1 is conceptualized as an 'AI (Artificial Intelligence) New Idol,' a sub-character created by Jung Dong-won to venture beyond trot music and explore various genres. The music video teaser, released ahead of the song's launch, showcases JD1 in a vibrant setting, highlighting his idol visuals. The agency stated, "JD1 is an idol planned for challenging the K-pop market. He will grow in various fields alongside Jung Dong-won."
