On August 14, Super Junior members Leeteuk and Shindong appeared as guests on KBS2's 'Boss In The Mirror' and introduced their brand new food business, 'ShinTeuk Recipe'. On this day, Super Junior member Heechul also appeared as a special MC.
First, Leeteuk informed viewers, "Shindong and I have decided to try becoming food business CEOs."
Here, Shindong also discussed his prior experience in business. He said, "It might seem as if Leeteuk is the real CEO, and I'm just the face. But I have more experience in business. I have opened a fried chicken restaurant, a PC/game room and a lounge bar. I was one of the first business owners to open a restaurant inside a PC room."
After introducing themselves as budding food entrepreneurs, Leeteuk and Shindong went into a meeting with SM Entertainment's brand marketing team to discuss the first launch of their 'ShinTeuk Recipe' products.
During the meeting, Leeteuk showed his persistent side when it came to business, nitpicking at every detail that he wanted to fix on the product packaging. Seeing this, Heechul pointed out from the studio, "Leeteuk, who learned cooking for a long time, is very invested in food. He is a perfectionist."
As the meeting continued, it was obvious that Leeteuk and Shindong had very different ideas and clashed in opinions at every turn. Shindong stated, "[Leeteuk] and I are very different. We have completely different preferences, from food to even how we sleep."
Thankfully, Leeteuk and Shindong each created two different meal kit products. Shindong created a donkatsu preparation kit while Leeteuk's kit recipe featured kimchi stew.
