Netflix has teamed up with celebrated director Yeon Sang Ho ('Train To Busan', 'Peninsula') to bring global audiences yet another thrilling new series, 'Hellbound'.
Based off of a popular webtoon series of the same name, the story of 'Hellbound' begins when dark creatures from 'Hell' show up in the lives of ordinary people, sentencing them to death. A mysterious religious cult then emerges and attempts to win over people to its cause.
The main trailer for 'Hellbound' starts off with a late night birthday party, until it's crashed by a heavenly voice, sentencing a woman to death in 5 days. The trailer then transitions into a mononlogue by Jung Jin Soo (played by Yoo Ah In), the leader of a mysterious religious cult who claims that the recent, freakish turn of events in the world are a sign from the gods.
Also starring Won Jin Ah, Park Jung Min, and more, 'Hellbound' delves deeply into the minds of various types of people and their own ideas of morality. The latest "creature" project by director Yeon Sang Ho, Netflix's 'Hellbound' premieres worldwide this coming November 19.
