American K-Pop artist Chad Future teams up with YELO to release ‘Summer with You’ comeback MV!

American K-Pop artistChad Future has dropped his long awaited comeback MV for "Summer With You" featuring Korean singer-songwriter YELO.

The upbeat song is the first comeback since his 2016 album, "AK-Pop", which was highlighted by collaborations with K-Pop artists Ha Sung Woon, VIXX's Ravi, and NU'EST's Aron.

The song is a feel good, positive track featuring both Korean and English language. The MV was filmed in both USA and South Korea, showcasing both artists coming together in the studio to create the song.

The song and music video was executive produced by 72, who recently composed songs for TWICE, BTOB, and Hyolyn. 72 previously remarked regarding the comeback, “Chad is a unique talent that also directs and edits his music videos. His skills are much more than a singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer. We are excited to be working closely with him for his upcoming releases.”

Honestly speaking, the song isn't that bad. Production and sound mixing is decent, and he doesn't sound terrible. I just don't really know why it is trying to be pushed as a "K-Pop" song by including a couple words in Korean.

Hundreds of songs use a line or two of other languages in them, and never is that classified as a "Spanish Pop Song" or "French Pop Song."

Is it being advertised as a K-Pop song by 72 and Chad? Or is it just poor reporting, and it's just a pop song with a certain audience in mind with certain musical influences?
