Singer and actress Hwang Bo candidly talked about her stay in Hong Kong. 

She was featured on the 5th episode of Girls' Generation's Yuri's show 'Yuri's Winning Recipe'. During the show, Hwang Bo shared a recipe for a strawberry vodka which she learned in Hong Kong's speakeasy. She introduced the recipe, "I lived in Hong Kong, and this is the first cocktail I had in Hong Kong's speakeasy. I went there every day because I wanted to figure out the recipe." 

Yuri then asked why she has returned from Hong Kong and Hwang Bo candidly replied she ran out of rent money. She said, "I initially planned for a month, but I ended up staying a year and a half because I could save money if I sign a long-term contract. I had a boyfriend who I thought I would marry back then." 

She continued, "I left because I wanted to do things I wanted before getting married. I wanted to live abroad. But then I got dumped while I was in Hong Kong. I was going to marry after I return home, but I ended up losing both money and my boyfriend. But I gained many things too."
