The Boyz are the latest act to release a special single for UNIVERSE!
On July 11 KST, the K-Pop fandom platform UNIVERSE unveiled The Boyz's new single "Drink It."
"Drink It" is a neat yet sophisticated EDM/pop song with a heavy cinematic soundscape, rounded out with drum, bass, synthesizer, and guitar. The Boyz members Sunwoo and Eric also participated in the rap-making.
Playing with the title, the music video's concept, according to the production team, is meant to portray the friendship and conflicts shared between some vampires and humans. While the single is available on most online streaming sites, the full music video can only be viewed inside the UNIVERSE app.
Meanwhile, "Drink It" is a part of UNIVERSE Music's ongoing series, where each artist featured on the UNIVERSE app puts out a special single. Such singles include IZ*ONE's "D-D-DANCE," Jo Su Mi and Rain's "Guardians," Park Ji Hoon's "Call U Up (ft. Lee Hi) (Prod. Primary)," (G)I-DLE's "Last Dance (Prod. Groovy Room)," Kang Daniel's "Outerspace (ft. LOCO)," AB6IX's "GEMINI," and CIX's "TESSERACT (Prod. Pentagon's Hui, Minit)."
