iKON's Kim Jin Hwan celebrates 27th birthday with soulful cover of Sabrina Claudio's 'Frozen'

iKON's Kim Jin Hwan has officially turned 27!

On February 7 KST, the YG Entertainment vocalist celebrated his birthday with his fans by releasing a video of him covering U.S. R&B singer Sabrina Claudio's 2017 single "Frozen." Through the performance, the idol showcases his unique vocal tone through the velvety love song, adding his own twist to the original version.

Meanwhile, Kim Jin Hwan's fans have been commemorating the special day through a number of charity activities. Korean fanclub 'Kim Jin Hwan Gallery,' for example, donated 1,004 coal briquettes, 1,004 hot packs, and 1,004 K94 grade face masks to low-income families in the local community. The number '1004' is signficant as it is a Korean homonym for 'angel.'
