On April 10 at approximately 2:45 PM KST, singer Roy Kim appeared in front of press outside the entrance to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Office.
Pausing in front of the numerous reporters and cameras, Roy Kim stated briefly, "First and foremost, I apologize to my fans and family who cherished me and cheered me on, as well as to the nation's citizens, for causing worry. I will take part in the investigation truthfully."
The singer refused additional press question asking, "Did you personally film the illegal content you shared in the chat room?", "Is it true that you utilized slang terms referring to illegal drugs in the chat room?", etc.
Currently, Roy Kim faces a charge for distributing illegal media content without consent via social platforms, as a member of the controversial chat room involving his close friend Jung Joon Young.
