The official trailer for 'Netflix's 'Kingdom' dropped worldwide on December 17.

The trailer begins with royal council member Jo Hak Joo (played by Ryu Seung Ryong) and his immoral abuse of excess power, as bodies are disposed of ruthlessly in a deep lake by the kingdom. Meanwhile, the crown prince Chang (played by Joo Ji Hoon) encounters a "monster" inside his father's quarters, but once he attempts to report this to the other authorities, he is framed as a traitor.

Outside the royal palace, dead men and women come to life and haunt the kingdom's civilians, and lead female character Seo Bi (played by Bae Doo Na) delivers glimpses of her encounters with the frightening "monsters".

The first ever 'Netflix' original K-drama dealing with a zombie thriller set in historical Joseon, 'Kingdom' premieres on January 25.
