One couple's inspiring story of weight loss may just get you up and out of your seat to visit the gym and shed those extra pounds!

On a Facebook page titled 'Dieting is the Best Plastic Surgery,' the tale of how the Song Jin Yoo and Shin Ji Hoo couple lost an impressive amount of weight in just four months was revealed. The secret? Through regular exercise and drastically reducing the amount of calorie intake.

The couple devised their very own workout plan, consisting of weight-lifting for one and a half hours twice a week, and three hours of daily aerobics. Aside from chicken breasts, eggs, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and other bits of fruits and vegetables, the couple didn't dare lay their hands on any other foods.

The guy's daily diet included 150g of chicken breasts, 120g of sweet potatoes, 5 pieces of almonds, cherry tomatoes, cabbage and a little bit of onions, consumed every three to four hours. As for the girl, she ate 3-4 egg whites, 50g of potatoes, and bits of vegetables and fruits five times daily, every fours hours or so.

Before the diet, the man weighed 83kg (~183 lb.) and his body fat percentage was 16%. The woman weighed 71kg (~157 lb.) and her body fat percentage was 32%. After their strict diet and exercise routines, the man was able to drop 12kg (26 lb.) and cut his fat to 5%; the woman shed a whopping 22kg (49 lb.) and reduced her body fat from 32% to 18%.

Pretty amazing, huh? This couple story is proof that hard work and dedication can achieve almost anything!

For me personally, the guy is so much hotter in the first picture. He has a natural handsomeness, human sex appeal. The second one looks so fake.. It would be like cuddling a Ken doll. I shouldn't discourage people from wanting to get fit... but actually, chiseled muscles are just as much about depriving your body and working it to the limit as it is about any health boon.

agree. I took a look at his instagram, he looks like a doll. His hips are like a quarter size of his shoulders! looks unnatural and ugly. This is the other extreme: when people cannot stop excercising. I don't find bodybuilders sexy. Those muscles are not natural anymore. I bet he spends more time in the gym than outside of it... I'd prefer someone like So Jisub, who maintains a healthy amount of muscle, looks naturally manly and big but not overdone and overbuilt. Thumbs up for this couple to reach their goals but they coiuld have stopped at living healthy... Eating the same meal every day, consisting of the same things and not enjoying food... I don't want a life goal like that. You can be healthy and fit without extreme diets and extreme workout. This is also a wrong image to young people.

Am I the only one who find guys on hardcore diets a turn off? They're just that much less likely to eat my cooking... ;

Apoka Friday, January 1, 2016

Same. I actually don't need a guy with sixpacks and big muscles. I like guys who aren't stick-thin and well..have a normal body. Of course, having muscles is okay too but not too much ^^

kudos to the guy. he's not only lost weight but become fit.
She on the other hand has done nothing else than lose weight. so not as much kudos to her as to him.
