TWICE is continuing its dynamic run across North America, further solidifying its global presence.
On February 23 (local time), the group appeared on NBC’s 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.' Having previously delivered standout performances on the program in 2021 and 2023, the members returned after nearly three years to showcase “Strategy” once again.
Dressed in hip, trend-forward styling, TWICE captivated both the live audience and viewers at home with a powerful performance that highlighted their confident “hot girl” charisma. Released in December 2024, “Strategy” gained renewed attention after being featured on the original soundtrack of Netflix’s hit animated film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters.' The track went on to chart for 17 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, while surpassing 300 million cumulative streams on Spotify as of the day the show aired, demonstrating the group’s explosive popularity in the United States.
Dubbed a “global top-tier girl group,” TWICE kicked off the North American leg of its sixth world tour, 'THIS IS FOR,' in January, beginning in Vancouver. The group continued its successful run with concerts held in Belmont Park on February 18, 20, and 21. Featuring a 360-degree open stage, the performances delivered immersive renditions of the group’s signature hits, heightening audience engagement. Special stages, including solo performances and “TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)” from the 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' original soundtrack, added further excitement.
The North American tour will span 35 shows across 20 cities through April, concluding in Austin. TWICE will also hold a solo concert in Taipei from March 20 to 22. On April 25, 26, and 28, the group will become the first foreign female artists to perform at Japan National Stadium, before heading to eight cities across Europe in May and June. In total, the 'THIS IS FOR' tour will encompass 78 solo concerts across 43 regions worldwide, marking the largest-scale world tour of TWICE’s career.
