Shin Hye Sun and Na In Woo are set to team up for a new romantic comedy.
On February 11, Netflix unveiled the cast lineup for its upcoming series '1/24 Romance,' announcing that Shin Hye Sun, Na In Woo, Yoon Kyun Sang, and Lee Joo Woo will star in the drama.
'1/24 Romance' tells the story of a fiercely driven variety show producer and a tennis player with an obsessive need for order, whose bodies unexpectedly switch for one hour each day without warning.
Shin Hye Sun will play Cha Joo An, a passionate variety show producer known for her bulldozer-like determination. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she becomes entangled with the meticulous Yoo Do Jin.
Na In Woo will portray Yoo Do Jin, a promising professional tennis player who lives a flawlessly structured life. However, when he suddenly finds himself in Cha Joo An’s body for one hour, he is thrust into the unpredictable and chaotic world of television production.
Yoon Kyun Sang takes on the role of Go Tae Hoon, Do Jin’s agency director and a close older friend. Lee Joo Woo plays Choi Mi Hyang, a variety show writer who becomes intertwined with Go Tae Hoon.
The series will be directed by Kim Sang Hyuk, known for dramas such as 'True Beauty' and 'Extraordinary You.' The script is penned by writers Han Seol Hee and Hong Bo Hee.
A production representative expressed confidence in the project, saying, “The one-hour soul switch that happens to two completely different individuals will bring delightful laughter, heart-fluttering moments, and relatable emotions to viewers.”
The release date for '1/24 Romance' has yet to be announced. The series will be available exclusively on Netflix.
