Rapper Vasco, now known as Bill Stax, opened up about his divorce.
On February 16th(KST), his wife, referred to as A, posted a video on her personal account, jokingly calling it a “divorce ceremony.” In the video, A emphasized, “We know we shouldn’t come to the court anymore. This has to stop. Tell everyone this is the last time. Whatever happens, this is the last.”
Vasco responded, “It’s a nightmare. A nightmare. This is the last time. I will never come to the Seoul District Court again.”
Vasco and A had been in a common-law marriage for eight years. They announced their breakup in January of last year, with A stating, “I’m single again after eight years,” and unfollowing Vasco’s social media account at the time.
Despite the circumstances, the couple shared a cheerful farewell in their video, drawing positive reactions from netizens. Comments included: “Watching both of you always made me happy. Seeing you part ways with a smile is so admirable, and I hope only good things come your way,” “I really like this. You both look healthy and so cool,” and “You’re divorcing to be happy, so I hope you both find happiness.”
Born in 1980, Vasco debuted in 2004 with his first full-length album 'The Genesis'. In 2011, he married actress Park Hwan Hee due to a premarital pregnancy, but the couple divorced in 2013 after 1 year and 3 months, citing differences in religion and personality. Vasco currently has custody of their son, while Park Hwan Hee maintains visitation rights.
Afterward, Vasco placed third on Mnet’s 'Show Me the Money 3' in 2014 and changed his stage name to Bill Stax. He continues to update fans on his personal life through his social media accounts.
