Actress Kim Tae Ri showed tears as she faced the overwhelming pressure of becoming a theater teacher for the first time.
On the February 22 broadcast of tvN's new variety program 'After-school Tae-ri Teacher', the actress began her journey as an after-school theater club instructor. She visited Yongheung Elementary School in Mungyeong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, a small rural school with only 18 students in total.
While preparing her self-introduction, Kim reflected on her own acting roots. She shared that she first tried theater in college and the joy she felt was so strong that she decided to become an actress, adding that she will never forget the feeling of standing on stage and receiving applause for the first time.
Despite her initial bright attitude, the reality of the task hit her hard on the day of her first class. Watching the children play outside through the window, she confessed that seeing them suddenly made her scared. She felt deeply anxious about the fact that she actually had to teach them that very day and felt unprepared for the responsibility.
While struggling to create a lesson plan, the actress eventually broke down in tears. Trying to brush it off by calling herself "weak," she admitted that her anxiety had grown out of control and her mind had become too complicated. However, after taking a deep breath, she gathered her composure and bravely continued writing her script for the students.
