Actor Kim Seon Ho is set to reconnect with fans through an Asia fan meeting tour, marking his return to large scale overseas events nearly two years after facing tax related allegations.
According to his agency, Kim will kick off the tour on April 11 and 12 at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul. He will then travel to Jakarta on April 25, Kanagawa on May 10, Manila on May 31, Taipei on June 6, and Bangkok on June 20, visiting a total of six cities. The official poster also includes the phrase “and more,” hinting at the possibility of additional stops.
The upcoming tour holds particular significance as it marks Kim’s first large scale offline Asia fan meeting in about two years. While he has continued communicating with fans since his first online fan meeting in 2021, a full scale regional tour has been long awaited.
Previously, Kim became embroiled in allegations related to tax avoidance concerning the operation of a one person corporation. On February 4, his agency Fantagio clarified the matter, stating that in addition to corporate taxes already paid, Kim had completed full payment of his personal income taxes as well, effectively wrapping up the tax settlement process. The corporation is reportedly in the final stages of administrative closure.
After addressing the controversy, Kim is now embarking on a renewed global schedule. Attention is focused on whether this Asia tour will serve as a turning point in his career resurgence as an actor.
