Kim Hye Yoon is returning to the big screen with a spine-chilling project.
On February 10, distributor Showbox confirmed that the horror film 'A Place to Kill' will premiere on April 8 and revealed its first trailer. Directed by Lee Sang Min, the movie is a horror thriller that begins when a mysterious figure is captured during a road-view shoot. A seven-member filming crew travels to Salmokji Reservoir for a reshoot, where they encounter a hidden presence lurking beneath the dark waters, leading them into escalating terror.
The trailer opens with Onroad Media PD Su In, played by Kim Hye Yoon, saying, “This is a place to kill.” Se Jeong (Jang Da Ah), who runs a horror exploration channel, deepens the ominous atmosphere by explaining that the location has long been rumored to be a place where people can encounter the dead.

The crew soon begins to experience bizarre phenomena. Unidentified voices echo from a ghost box, and the sound of stones colliding rings through the forest. Gyeong Tae (Kim Young Sung) appears to be dragged away by an unknown entity, while Gyeong Jun (Oh Dong Min) runs toward the reservoir.
Gyo Sik (Kim Jun Han) is seen stacking stone towers, and Seong Bin (Yoon Jae Chan) watches in terror. Gi Tae (Lee Jong Won), who followed Su In to Salmokji, becomes trapped in a swamp-like nightmare. Their fear intensifies as they appear to circle the same location repeatedly, like a broken navigation system. The trailer ends with a chilling warning: “No one leaves that place alive.”
'A Place to Kill' will also be released in special formats at CGV, including SCREENX and 4DX. In addition to standard screenings, audiences can experience SCREENX’s expanded side-wall visuals, 4DX’s motion chairs and environmental effects, and an integrated format combining both technologies, promising an extreme and immersive horror experience.
