KATSEYE made their first appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' meeting host Jimmy Fallon and sharing stories from their fast-rising career.
The group appeared on the February 5 broadcast (KST), marking their debut visit to the popular NBC talk show. During the interview, the members spoke about stepping onto the global stage while celebrating their nominations in two categories at the Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist.
Yoonchae shared a memorable encounter involving Rosé of BLACKPINK. She revealed, "I’ve been a BLACKPINK fan since I was nine. I wanted to greet Rosé in Korean, but I was so nervous that I just said ‘Hi.’" The anecdote drew laughter from the audience.
Other global stars also came up in conversation, including Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, and Miley Cyrus. Manon confessed, "Miley Cyrus walked past me once, and my whole body froze." The members also teased new music. Megan shared that the group is preparing an album set for release this year. While the exact timing has yet to be finalized, she hinted that the project will be "very exciting."
KATSEYE’s growing global presence extends beyond music. The group was recently selected as models for a brand campaign tied to the Super Bowl, one of North America’s biggest sports and pop culture events. They appear in a commercial for global insurance company State Farm.
When Fallon asked how it felt to be part of such a major campaign, Lara shared a heartwarming moment, saying her father watched the commercial and told her, "I'm finally proud of you," prompting laughter in the studio. The group even delivered an impromptu performance from the ad, showing off synchronized choreography to 'Livin' on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi. Fans can catch the full commercial beginning February 8.
