Actor Jo In Sung made a lighthearted remark about comedian Yoo Jae Suk’s keen eye for wealth during an upcoming episode of SBS’s variety show 'Whenever There’s a Chance'.
The episode, airing at 9 p.m. on February 3, features actors Park Hae Joon, Park Jung Min, and Jo In Sung as guests. During the show, Jo In Sung reflected on his past, sharing that he spent his school years in Gangdong District and continued living there until the release of his 2006 film A Dirty Carnival. He added with a laugh that after moving to Bangyi-dong, he now lives alone, jokingly calling himself a “lonely senior resident.”
Park Jung Min chimed in, noting that several notable figures—including director Ryoo Seung Wan and webtoon artist Kang Full—also lived in Gangdong District. “People who lived there seem to have a unique sense of pride,” he said, prompting Jo In Sung to agree. Park Jung Min jokingly pushed back, saying, “It’s a bit too much.”
The conversation then shifted to Yoo Jae Suk’s sharp observations. Yoo recalled meeting Park Hae Joon on You Quiz on the Block, admitting he initially thought the actor had struggled financially while pursuing theater, only to later learn his family had supported him well. “You didn’t struggle that much,” Yoo teased, adding that Park Hae Joon seemed like he came from a well-established family in Busan.
Laughing, Jo In Sung wrapped up the moment by saying, “Jae Suk hyung is really good at spotting those things. That’s probably because half of Apgujeong belongs to him.”
The playful exchange added to the show’s relaxed atmosphere, offering viewers a glimpse into the stars’ humor and longtime friendships.
