In an interview with SPOTV News on February 20 KST, Kim tae Ho PD confirmed that season 2 of MBC's 'Good Day' starring G-Dragon was in the works.
The star PD commented, "I felt that 'Good Day' matched well with MBC and suggested it to the broadcasting station, and thankfully, it generated great revenue for MBC, based on what I've heard. MBC has since strongly pressed for a second season, and so I have been thinking about its direction and time frame. Recently, I think I've found a clear direction, and I can now proceed with filming. It is Big Bang's 20th anniversary soon, so I think I'll be able to carry on with that."
He also added on, "We made 'Good Day' because G-Dragon wanted to contemplate on his relationships with his seniors and juniors in the entertainment industry. Naturally, season 2 cannot exist without G-Dragon. But this time, we are trying to take the discussions about music in a different direction."
Meanwhile, G-Dragon has consistently hinted at plans to celebrate Big Bang's 20th anniversary. Big Bang are also scheduled to perform as a group at this year's 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in April.
