Singer and actress Uhm Jung Hwa shared a series of playful childhood memories during a family trip to her hometown of Jecheon, sparking laughter with lighthearted stories of alleged favoritism toward her younger brother Uhm Tae Woong.
On the 27th, a new video was uploaded to Uhm Jung Hwa’s YouTube channel 'Umaizing Uhm Jung Hwa TV'.
In the video, Uhm Jung Hwa rides in a car driven by Uhm Tae Woong alongside their mother as they head to Jecheon. She shared her excitement, saying, “It has been a long time since the three of us traveled together like this. We are heading to our hometown, Jecheon.”
The mood quickly became livelier as the family talked about food. When Uhm Jung Hwa mentioned visiting a bulgogi restaurant her brother had recommended before arriving in Jecheon, Uhm Tae Woong said, “That is the bulgogi we used to eat when we were kids.” Uhm Jung Hwa immediately responded with a laugh, saying, “Mom never gave it to me. She only gave it to you.”
Uhm Tae Woong explained that he meant bulgogi they ate at restaurants, but Uhm Jung Hwa countered, “I never ate bulgogi at restaurants when I was little. Except for you.” She went on to recall feeling hurt, adding, “Even in our lunch boxes, meat was packed only for Uhm Tae Woong. I found out later when I was washing the lunch boxes.”
Despite Uhm Tae Woong insisting that they never ate meat separately, Uhm Jung Hwa continued her playful revelations, saying, “He was the only one who got bananas, and he was the only one Mom took to Seoul,” drawing laughter with her candid remarks.
Uhm Jung Hwa’s straightforward yet humorous trip down memory lane set a cheerful tone for the video, capturing the warm and relatable moments of the family’s trip just as they were.
