Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung shared that she received the much-talked-about “Dubai chewy cookies,” which recently sparked a sell-out craze, as a gift from fellow member YoonA.
On January 20th, Sooyoung posted several photos on her Instagram Story with playful captions reading, “The royal head chef has arrived,” and “Thank you for bestowing the Dubai chewy cookies.” The images show Yoona personally handing over the homemade “Dubai chewy cookies” to Sooyoung, drawing attention.
After tasting the dessert, Sooyoung couldn’t hide her admiration, commenting, “What is this… it’s seriously incredible. Become my royal head chef,” expressing her delight with Yoona’s cooking skills.
Previously, on January 11th, Yoona had shared the process of making the “Dubai chewy cookies” herself via her social media. The post further fueled buzz as singer Sung Si Kyung and fellow member Yuri left praising comments such as “The chef of a tyrant,” and “A modern-day royal chef,” respectively.
Meanwhile, Yoona starred in the tvN weekend drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' last year, playing Yeon Ji Young, the head chef of a three-Michelin-star restaurant in Paris. Known in real life for her impressive culinary skills, Yoona reportedly performed numerous cooking scenes herself without the use of a stand-in.
