Shinji of Koyote has announced that she will be getting married to her partner Moon Won this May.
On the 26th, Shinji shared the news via social media, writing, “I sincerely thank everyone who has consistently supported and cherished me for the past 27 years despite my many shortcomings. Today, I would like to formally announce the most important news of my life, my marriage.”
She continued, “As we spent time together, our bond grew stronger and our trust deepened. I’ve come to feel truly grateful to have someone who is completely on my side. We’ve learned to rely on each other, and our relationship has become even more solid.” She then added, “As the beginning of the second chapter of my life, Moon Won and I will be holding our wedding ceremony in May.”
Shinji also addressed public concern, saying, “I am well aware of the affectionate worries and concerns many of you have expressed. I will not forget them, and we will continue moving forward step by step, staying true and consistent.”
Previously, Shinji confirmed her relationship with Moon Won in June last year and shared plans to marry in the first half of the following year. In July, Moon Won appeared on Shinji’s YouTube channel, where he revealed that he is divorced and has a child from his previous marriage. Following this, controversies and rumors surrounding his attitude and past led to negative public opinion and calls opposing the marriage.
As the controversy grew, Moon Won acknowledged that he had worked in real estate sales alongside a brokerage office without holding an official real estate agent license, stating that this claim was true. However, he denied other allegations as false. Shinji’s agency also responded, saying, “We have carefully reviewed all concerns and allegations raised by the public together with the agency, and we have confirmed that the accusations are not true.” The agency added that it would take legal action against the spread of false information and defamation.
