Comedian Heo Kyung Hwan playfully hinted at joining 'Hangout with Yoo' following a surge in popularity sparked by his appearance on 'You Quiz on the Block.'
On the January 3 broadcast of MBC’s 'Hangout with Yoo' (Episode 311), Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa, and Joo Woo Jae welcomed Heo Kyung Hwan with lighthearted banter.
Heo Kyung Hwan arrived early at the opening location to greet the cast, prompting the longtime members to tease him about his recent momentum. “Kyung Hwan’s basically a superstar now,” they joked, congratulating him on what they described as a second peak in his career.
When Yoo Jae Suk jokingly took credit by saying, “Didn’t we raise Kyung Hwan into a star?,” Heo Kyung Hwan played along with humor. “Since it came up, I’ll just say this. I’ve already cleared my Thursday schedule,” he said while exaggerating his nervous gestures. “I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Thursdays are wide open.”
Asked whether his agency was aware of his comments, Heo Kyung Hwan shared another amusing anecdote. “They keep saying we need to keep this going. They even asked if a car seat would be okay and offered to change my car,” he said. “I told them not to do anything. Don’t change anything at all. Just let things stay as they are. I’m trying to calm the company down. For them, this feels like a huge celebration.”
His remarks drew laughter from the cast and further fueled curiosity about a potential future appearance on 'Hangout with Yoo.'
