Singer Sean has once again proven why he is called the "Donation Angel".
On the January 10 broadcast of MBC's 'Omniscient Interfering View : The Manager', Sean revealed his incredible daily life dedicated to charity.
Sean organized a massive marathon project with 260,000 citizens. Together, they achieved 20 billion steps, resulting in a 2 billion KRW donation. During the run in freezing -6°C weather, Sean showed his true leadership. He ran back and forth to encourage tired runners and even helped his manager, who was suffering from cramps, cross the finish line.
Sean's dedication is backed by incredible numbers. Over the past 13 years, he has run a total of 65,000 km, which is equivalent to circling the Earth about 1.6 times. Last year alone, he donated a staggering 5.5 billion KRW through various marathon events. Looking ahead, he announced a new goal to complete the world's top 7 marathons and 7 continent marathons in one year, while also planning for his sons to set a record as the youngest to complete the top 7 marathons.
The episode also showed Sean volunteering with his wife, Jung Hye Young, and their children to deliver coal briquettes—a tradition they have kept for 11 years. Sean shocked everyone by carrying 19 briquettes (about 70kg) on his back at once up a steep hill. His family's warm participation touched the hearts of viewers.
