Davichi’s agency asked the public to refrain from contacting a phone number that was used as part of a concert production element.
On January 27, CAM WITH US released an official statement, saying, “We would like to provide clarification regarding the phone number printed on a business card used during the production of the 2026 Davichi solo concert ‘TIME CAPSULE: Connecting the time.’”
The agency explained, “The number in question was used solely as part of the concert’s stage production and is not an actual contact number. We would like to inform you that this is not a phone number intended for real communication.” They continued, “Currently, the owner of that number is experiencing damage due to incoming calls, so we strongly ask that you refrain from contacting the number.”
Davichi held their 2026 concert ‘TIME CAPSULE: Connecting the time’ on January 24 and 25 at the KSPO DOME in Seoul. During the opening performance, illusionist Lee Eun Gyeol walked around the floor section handing out business cards. The cards included phrases helped shape the show’s concept, such as “Do you know about the time capsule?” and “If you want to connect time, please call now,” along with a phone number.
Although the number was designed to symbolically reflect Davichi’s debut year and the current year, controversy arose when it was discovered that the number is actually in use by a real individual. In response, CAM WITH US emphasized once again, “We ask that you do not contact this number.”
