BABYMONSTER’s “Really Like You” is climbing the charts again, fueled by the song’s growing popularity through online challenges.
According to YG Entertainment on January 21st KST, “Really Like You,” a B-side track from BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album 'DRIP', ranked No. 77 on YouTube Korea’s Weekly Popular Songs Top 100 chart for the period of January 9th to January 15th, 2026. The achievement marks an unusual reverse run for a track released approximately one year and two months ago.
Beyond YouTube, the song is showing a clear upward trend across major music charts. It jumped 47 spots on the Spotify Weekly Top Songs Korea chart, while also rising simultaneously on three Circle Chart weekly rankings—Global K-pop, Digital, and Streaming. In addition, the track has continued to set new peak positions on major domestic and global daily charts, including Apple Music, where it reached No. 12, as well as Melon and Vibe.
The recent surge has been driven by a challenge trend that sparked renewed attention. A performance video of “Really Like You” from BABYMONSTER’s Japan fan concert in December last year spread online, inspiring a challenge that incorporates point choreography such as forming an “O” shape with the hands in sync with the lyrics and using cute gestures to express fluttering emotions. The trend has since been embraced not only by K-pop fans but also by fellow artists, further amplifying its popularity.
Reflecting this momentum, “Really Like You” topped the TikTok Korea Music Viral 50 chart for five consecutive days from January 11th to 15th, and continues to rank high on both the same chart and the Rising 50 chart. As of January 21st, the number of TikTok posts using the song has surpassed 100,000, underscoring its sustained appeal.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER recently surpassed 11 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel, achieving the milestone at the fastest pace ever for a K-pop girl group and solidifying their status as a “next-generation YouTube queen.” At the end of last year, their official performance videos from 'MAMA' and 'Gayo Daejeon' ranked No. 1 in views, leaving a strong impression. With the added boost of the New Year challenge craze, attention is increasingly focused on BABYMONSTER’s trajectory in 2026.
