Actress Oh Yoon Ah candidly reflected on the difficult moments she experienced while raising her son Song Min, who has a developmental disability.
On January 23, a video titled “Graduation Ceremony at Milal School for Students With Developmental Disabilities” was released on her YouTube channel Oh, YoonaTV.
In the video, Oh Yoon Ah attended Song Min’s graduation ceremony at Milal School alongside her mother and older sister. As she watched her son receive his diploma, she looked back on the long and challenging journey they had shared.
When her sister recalled, “When Min was seven, he once bit a stranger while walking down the street,” Oh Yoon Ah added, “When he was in his second year of high school, we went to an amusement park, and he grabbed a passing girl by the hair. I had to apologize, and later I was contacted and compensated her financially.” Her sister responded in agreement, saying, “That goes without saying.”

The former writer for 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' also shared an anecdote, saying, “Min is much calmer now compared to when we were filming Fun-Staurant. At least now, I don’t have to worry about my clothes getting torn.”
Oh Yoon Ah echoed the memory, recalling, “Back then, all the writers’ clothes were torn. Writer Sumin even had her hair pulled.” She laughed as she revisited the awkward moments from the show’s filming.
Looking at her now more composed and mature son, Oh shared her hopes for the future, saying, “When Min starts earning a salary, he should donate. If he gets a job, I want him to give a scholarship to his school.”
Oh Yoon Ah married a non-celebrity in 2007 and gave birth to her son Song Min, but the couple divorced in 2015. Since then, she has been raising her son as a single mother while remaining active in the entertainment industry through various television programs and her personal channel Oh, YoonaTV.
