Media outlets have noted that SHINee's Key will not be attending a recording for tvN's 'Amazing Saturday - Doremi Market' scheduled for today, December 12 KST. His absence was already predetermined due to his U.S. tour schedule and unrelated to the most recent controversy surrounding an 'Injection Aunt' affiliated with comedian Park Na Rae. This recording for 'Amazing Saturday' will encompass filmings for 2 episodes and will mark the first recordings to take place since Park Na Rae's departure from the program.
Additionally, the staff of MBC's 'I Live Alone' have confirmed that Key was unable to attend a previous recording for 'I Live Alone' as a result of his U.S. tour. Thus, Key will not be appearing as a panelist on the December 12 broadcast of 'I Live Alone' either.
The above absences suggest that Key will most likely be incapable of addressing the 'Injection Aunt' controversy until he wraps up the U.S. leg of his 2025 tour, 'Keyland : Uncanny Valley'. The SHINee member is expected to perform in Chicago on December 13 local time, before concluding the full U.S. leg in Seattle on December 15 local time.
Meanwhile, following a string of controversial accusations raised by 2 former managers, comedian Park Na Rae announced a hiatus from all entertainment activities earlier this week on December 8. One controversy involved medical procedures administered by an allegedly unlicensed individual, referred to as 'Injection Aunt', who according to the former managers administered unidentified medicine to Park Na Rae. This controversy soon escalated and drew in various other celebrities acquainted with Park Na Rae, including Key, whose dogs were supposedly spotted on 'Injection Aunt's SNS feed.
