On December 12 KST, YouTube channel HOVERLAB released photos of SHINee's Key attending a birthday party hosted by the controversial "Injection Aunt".
According to HOVERLAB, Key attended a birthday part on September 22, 2015, celebrating the first birthday of Injection Aunt's daughter. The idol was spotted several times with Injection Aunt at the event, as well as posing for a photo op with the 1-year old daughter.
Furthermore, HOVERLAB released another photo of Key posing together with Injection Aunt back stage at SHINee's concert, held on September 2, 2016. The friendly photo suggested that Injection Aunt may have been invited to the show by Key himself, and that Key's manager was also aware of the guest's presence.
Previously, suspicions regarding Key's connection to Injection Aunt arose after netizens discovered photos of Key's dogs posted on the woman's Instagram. She wrote on December 17 of last year, "Comme Des, what's wrong? It's been well over 10 years but you're still leering at me? Garçons isn't like that."
According to accusations raised by comedian Park Na Rae's former managers, Injection Aunt has administered medical procedures to Park Na Rae in her home without a license or certification. The Korean Medical Association has since confirmed that Injection Aunt has never been certified in South Korea, and that anyone administering medical procedures without certification is illegal.
Elsewhere, sources have claimed that Injection Aunt is a high school graduate who was previously employed as an assistant at a skincare clinic, in charge of glueing eyelashes.
Meanwhile, SHINee's Key has yet to speak up about his suspected connections to Injection Aunt. Fellow SHINee member Onew, on the other hand, promptly clarified that he gifted Injection Aunt with a signed CD as a token of gratitude after receiving skincare treatment at a clinic where she worked in 2022.
