As an individual who previously raised allegations linking entertainer Jo Se Ho to organized crime has signaled plans for further disclosures, Jo’s agency says it is closely monitoring the situation.
The accuser, identified as A, posted again on social media on the 5th, claiming that the statements already released would place Jo in a difficult position. A further alleged knowledge of public officials, celebrities, and influencers connected to the same individual at the center of the claims.
Addressing Cho Se Ho’s agency statement that characterized the relationship as that of “simple acquaintances,” A argued that while celebrities may have personal friendships, public figures should be held to higher standards. A also suggested the possibility of additional claims involving Jo Se Ho’s wife, stating that photos allegedly exist from a private gathering prior to the couple’s marriage.
In response, Jo Se Ho’s agency A2Z Entertainment reiterated on the 5th that the accusations are “nothing more than personal speculation” and are not true. The agency stated it is reviewing strong legal action, both criminal and civil, for defamation and obstruction of business.
An A2Z Entertainment representative told on the 7th that the company is carefully reviewing A’s claims and has begun collecting materials through legal counsel to refute what it describes as false assertions. The representative added that any mention of Jo Se Ho’s family is being taken seriously and closely watched.
The agency emphasized that Jo Se Ho’s current activities will continue as scheduled and called for restraint, asking the public to refrain from spreading unverified claims, malicious posts, or false information that could negatively impact its artists.
