Actress Gong Hyo Jin, who is happily married to singer Kevin Oh, recently opened up about her YouTube hiatus while promoting her return to the big screen.
On December 4, she appeared as a guest on fellow actor Lee Chun Hee's YouTube channel to enjoy a camping trip. During their chat, Lee Chun Hee teased her about her channel name, 'Gong Hyo Jin For Now,' asking if the name meant she only planned to do YouTube for a short time.
Gong Hyo Jin explained the real reason for her 5-month break. "I spent the whole summer in the US. I filmed a lot, but I felt I couldn't capture the subjects properly and the footage lacked context," she confessed. "Because of repeated disappointments in myself, I decided to pause for a while."
Despite the hiatus and her self-doubt, she revealed she reached 100,000 subscribers. "I thought people would leave since I stopped uploading, but the number stayed the same," she said, reassuring fans. "I am not deleting the channel. I'm just worrying about how to make better content."

Meanwhile, Gong Hyo Jin returned to theaters just two days ago with the thriller movie 'The People Upstairs'. Known as the "Rom-Com Queen" for hits like 'Pasta' and 'Don't Dare to Dream', she continues to be active in both her career and her happy marriage.
