Park Ji Eun, formerly of PURPLE K!SS, is beginning a new chapter as an actress.
On December 2nd KST, DABUENM Co., Ltd. announced that it has signed an exclusive contract with Park Ji Eun. Park Ji Eun debuted in 2020 as the main vocalist of PURPLE K!SS, but departed from the team in 2022 due to health reasons. She later prepared for her transition into acting through the Acting and Performing Arts Department at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts.
She went on to play the young Suhyeon in the play 'Puffer', part of the 9th Mystery Thriller Festival, and appeared as Eunju, stylist to Lee Chaeyeon, in the OTT series 'Fresh Romance', showing her presence as an emerging actress.
The agency stated, “Park Ji Eun is an artist who has built extensive stage experience and wide public recognition since her idol days. We highly value her potential and sincerity as an actress, which led us to sign an exclusive contract with her. We will give her full support so she can showcase her abilities across various genres.”
Park Ji Eun also shared through the agency, “With my new agency, I want to grow further as an actress. I will bring the emotions and experiences I felt on stage into my acting and become a performer with sincerity.”
Park Ji Eun has been cast in the role of Jieun in the upcoming OTT drama 'Sexy Weather Today', scheduled for release in the first half of next year.
Meanwhile, DABUENM Co., Ltd., a content production and management company, is home to actors Hwang Ji Sun, Kang Da Min, and Choi Da Yeon, among others.
