The hit webtoon 'Dark Moon: The Blood Altar', created in collaboration with ENHYPEN, has officially been reborn as a Japanese anime.
On December 28, production company Aniplex, a subsidiary of Sony Music Japan, held the first public screening event at Toho Cinemas in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Fans were treated to the first episode of the highly anticipated animation. Following the screening, all 7 members of ENHYPEN took the stage alongside 6 Japanese voice actors who participated in the production to greet the audience and celebrate the launch.
This anime adaptation marks the pinnacle of HYBE's 'Story IP Business'. The original series on Naver Webtoon has already surpassed 200 million cumulative views, proving its global popularity. The IP has successfully expanded beyond the screen, including a 'Dark Moon' festival at Lotte World Adventure and a fashion collaboration with SPAO, turning the story into a tangible experience for fans. The anime itself is a collaboration between planning giant Aniplex and animation studio TROYCA, ensuring high-quality production.

The anime, consisting of 12 episodes, will officially begin airing in Japan on January 9 across four channels, including Tokyo MX and BS11. For international fans, it will be available through overseas distribution networks 90 minutes after the Japanese broadcast. Additionally, starting January 13, it will be available on streaming services Netflix and Hulu.
