During a recent interview held in light of the conclusion of his Disney+ original series 'The Manipulated', singer/actor Doh Kyung Soo shared his disappointment over the fact that he will have to miss out on Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah's wedding.
Previously, it was revealed that EXO would attend the 'Melon Music Awards 2025', being held on December 20 KST, as a performing artist. The award ceremony falls on the same day as Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah's wedding, meaning that Doh Kyung Soo will not be able to attend.
In his interview on December 11 KST, Doh Kyung Soo commented, "Of course, it's the way it has to be. It's my work, so it's of course important, and I firmly believe that EXO comes first. I'm sad [to miss the wedding] but I'll be better to Woo Bin hyung. He knows that it can't be helped. He's disappointed, but he understands."
How will Doh Kyung Soo make it up to his close friend Kim Woo Bin? He answered, "I'm actually racking my brain over what to do afterward. How should I pay him back. I'm seriously still thinking."
In fact, Doh Kyung Soo had originally planned on singing the congratulatory song at the big wedding without question. "I originally thought for sure that I would sing the congratulatory song. I knew about the wedding well beforehand. The 'Melon Music Awards' schedule was fixed after that. So at the time, I went, 'How can I tell Woo Bin hyung?' Since it was something that just couldn't be helped," the singer/actor recalled.
He then added on with laughter, "We were both super disappointed. The original plan was for me to sing 'Popcorn'. Now, I still don't know who is singing the congratulatory song. Once I was crossed off the list of potential guests, I was also erased from Woo Bin's sight."
