The December 20 broadcast of 'Amazing Saturday' opened with Key, Park Na Rae, and HAETNIM the short mouth all appearing clearly in full shots. As the episode continued with four guest participants, the quiz segment unfolded with substantial screen time given to both Key and Park Na Rae.
While Park Na Rae appeared frequently through full shots and voice segments, viewers were particularly surprised by Key’s presence, as he was repeatedly captured in direct one shots. Additionally, after failing to answer a quiz question, HAETNIM the short mouth carried out the penalty according to the show’s rules, delivering a solo mukbang scene in a single uninterrupted shot as she enjoyed the food.
The unedited appearances drew strong reactions from viewers, as all three figures had previously stepped down from their programs amid controversy. The trio had been linked to the individual nicknamed “Injection Aunt,” who is currently suspected of illegal medical practices, leading to their withdrawal from ongoing broadcasts.
In particular, Park Na Rae and HAETNIM the short mouth were reported to have obtained and consumed medication through “Injection Aunt,” including “diet pills” identified as phentermine. As a result, the narcotics crime investigation unit has reportedly launched an official investigation into the matter.
Given that all three had already exited their respective shows due to the controversy, viewers expressed surprise at seeing them prominently featured on 'Amazing Saturday,' sparking further discussion online about broadcast standards and editing decisions amid ongoing investigations.
