Actors Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin are once again drawing admiration for their stunning visuals and warm chemistry.
On November 22, Son Ye Jin posted several selfies with her husband Hyun Bin on her personal social media, along with a heartfelt message reflecting on her recent achievements.
Son Ye Jin said, “I feel like I’ve been floating on clouds, not even realizing how the past few days went by. I still can’t believe I received both Best Actress and the Popularity Award at the 'Blue Dragon Film Awards.' I didn’t expect it at all, so I couldn’t give a proper acceptance speech or express my gratitude the way I wanted, which I regret. Above all, I heard that fans worked so, so hard voting for the Popularity Award. I cried. I’m truly touched. How can I possibly express my thanks?”
She continued, “‘No Other Choice’ was my first film in a long while and also my first project after getting married, so there were many things I was worried about. But since I was working with Director Park Chan Wook and senior Lee Byung Hun, I thought I just needed to follow their lead. After watching the movie, I was once again reminded of how grateful we are to have Director Park Chan Wook in the Korean film industry. And senior Lee Byung Hun, simply incomparable. Senior Lee Sung Min, a master of acting with incredible energy. Yeom Hye Ran, whose charm knows no limits. Park Hee Soon, a new discovery with that face and expressive power. And all the seniors and juniors who portrayed their roles so perfectly. I grew to love and admire each of them, both as people and as actors. And I was so happy to be the youngest on set,” she said, expressing her gratitude toward the ‘No Other Choice’ team.
Son Ye Jin also listed the names of staff members from cinematography, lighting, art, makeup, wardrobe, music directing, and more, saying, “Thanks to all of you who shed your sweat on set and gave your very best, my character was able to shine the way she did. I was lucky to receive such a precious and meaningful award. I will not take it lightly. I will show you even better acting. Thank you.”
Son Ye Jin won Best Actress and the Popular Star Award at the '46th Blue Dragon Film Awards' held on November 19 for her performance in 'No Other Choice.'
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin married in March 2022 and are parents to one son.
