Super Junior’s Shindong shared an update on his successful weight loss.
On the November 22 episode of JTBC’s variety show ‘Knowing Bros’ (episode 508), Shindong proudly revealed that he had reached a major milestone in his diet.
Kang Ho Dong remarked to Shindong, “You suddenly lost weight. Oh my, don’t lose any more,” surprising everyone on set. He then explained, “At first, I actually felt frustrated when Shindong stood in front of me because I couldn’t see past him. But after he suddenly started dieting, my view opened up.” A comparison shot from the past clearly highlighted Shindong’s noticeably slimmer face.
Shindong responded cheerfully, saying, “Compliment me. My weight has finally dropped to a double-digit number.” When Kang Ho Dong jokingly asked, “If it’s double digits, then you must be exactly 99.9 kg?” Shindong corrected him, revealing, “It’s precisely 97.8 kg. I started at 106 kg.”
He also couldn’t hide his delight when Kang Ho Dong described him as having a “paper-thin figure,” prompting Lee Soo Geun to tease, “What kind of paper? A cardboard box?” bringing laughter to the studio.
