Following former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin’s official statement after New Jeans decided to return to ADOR, online communities have been flooded with backlash and disappointment. Many netizens feel that Min Hee Jin is now distancing herself from the group despite being at the center of the controversy that affected them in the first place.

In her statement, Min Hee Jin said,

“The collective decision made by the members of New Jeans to return to ADOR was reached after much deliberation. Therefore, I respect and support their decision. There were difficulties, but I cherish the courage shown by the members when they ultimately chose to join hands in order to protect one another.”

She continued,

“I can start over again wherever and whenever. But New Jeans must be protected and must remain 5-members. I hope that the members will grow stronger and firmer as NewJeans, and more than anything else, I wish all 5 members happiness.”

While the producer emphasized that her legal dispute with HYBE was “unrelated to New Jeans,” many fans weren’t convinced, and some accused her of abandoning the group after dragging them into her battle.

“After bringing New Jeans into this mess, causing almost all of the hate train and fandom wars, throwing New Jeans under the bus, this is all she says? Unbelievable.”

“The audacity of this woman left everyone baffled.”

“It makes me sick to see Min Hee Jin acting like she has nothing to do with this. She's the one that put New Jeans in this situation.”

“After she literally used New Jeans for her own agenda and now she’s abandoning them! Made them fight a losing battle for nearly two years just to go and start her own company. She never cared about New Jeans.”

“Min Hee Jin is getting desperate. She already threw New Jeans under the bus. She has been ignoring them and helping out Dolphin kidnappers and busy starting her own company.”

“MHJ should just stop yapping. She was the one who dragged the girls down in this mess (not so hard for her, when they obviously lack critical thinking)... I'm angry, she's totally unhinged and I think most of us don't even care what she has to say anyway.”

“Someone give this woman a Nobel Prize. These five young girls must have seen so much while listening to her. Those who go to her new company, be careful from now on.”

“bro dragged them into this mess and then dipped the moment it didn’t go her way.”

“Good decision NJ! Sometimes we have to swallow our pride and do what is best for our future!”

As emotions continue to run high, some netizens suggested that New Jeans made the right decision by returning to ADOR, with many urging fellow fans to not support Min Hee Jins new endeavors.

“Bunnies should not support her new company at all.”

Despite the mixed opinions, the majority of online comments express disappointment and distrust toward Min Hee Jin’s intentions,

with many agreeing that she is now trying to separate herself from the consequences of her own actions.
